Description

• Design and implement solutions that streamline software development and infrastructure operations.
• Establish and promote platform standards, engineering best practices, CI/CD frameworks, and reusable capabilities across the organization.
• Drive the evolution of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), including self-service tools, Golden Paths, and engineering governance frameworks.
• Deliver innovative platform solutions that improve consistency, efficiency, and speed of delivery.
• Create and maintain platform documentation, technical standards, reference architectures, and operational guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with technology standards and objectives.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and technical discussions to build scalable, resilient, and secure platforms.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, capacity, and cost optimization.
• Automate processes, improve code quality, and reduce manual effort through engineering best practices.
• Champion platform adoption and support development teams in implementing standards and modern engineering practices.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS and GitLab within enterprise-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with software delivery, configuration management, deployment automation, and tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform.
• Proven ability to define and govern platform standards, best practices, and reference architectures across multiple teams.
• Solid experience building and operating Kubernetes-based and cloud-native platforms.
• Knowledge of observability and reliability practices, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SLOs/SLAs, and incident management.
• Experience developing and managing Internal Developer Platforms using Backstage, Crossplane, or similar technologies.
• Expertise in creating Golden Paths, reusable templates, shared services, and self-service engineering capabilities.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, including security automation, secrets management, software supply chain security, policy-as-code, and compliance controls.
• Experience with platform governance, DORA metrics, developer productivity initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
• Fluent English communication skills.
