Lisbeyond Group is a dynamic Dutch-Portuguese company specializing in property
services across Portugal. We operate three business units: Property Management (200+
rental properties, short- to long-term), Renovations (projects up to €1M), and Upkeep
(membership-only concierge-style maintenance for homeowners).
Our mission is to create peace of mind through pro-active communication - and we need
someone who makes this value come alive across the entire organization.
About the Role
This is not a typical marketing role. You will take full ownership of how Lisbeyond Group
communicates - internally and externally, strategically and operationally - across all three
business units. Pro-active communication is our core value: it is what creates peace of
mind for clients, guests, partners, suppliers, and our team. We need someone who deeply
understands this and can embed it into everything - from brand positioning and client
targeting to internal processes, partnership building in real estate, and day-to-day team
communication.
You are the strategic driver and quality guardian. We work with external partners (PR
agency, content creator, designer) and need someone who can coordinate, critically
oversee, and hold them to a high standard. There is no large internal marketing team - this
role requires independence, the confidence to push back when needed (including with
leadership), and pragmatism: when a subcontractor is unavailable, you roll up your sleeves
and get it done yourself.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own the marketing and communication strategy for all three business units.
- Define brand positioning that reflects our core value of pro-active communication and peace of mind.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and report to leadership with data-driven insights.
- Act as the strategic sparring partner for leadership on marketing, communication, and market positioning.
External Communication & Marketing
- Coordinate and critically oversee external partners (PR agency, content creator, designer) - ensuring quality, consistency, and strategic alignment.
- Manage all digital channels: website, social media, newsletters, SEO, and paid campaigns.
- Drive lead generation and support sales with materials, presentations, and brochures.
- Build partnerships with players in the real estate industry to strengthen market position.
- Champion pro-active communication within the organization - across teams, processes, and daily operations.
- Drive employer branding and internal culture visibility to attract and retain talent.
Operations & Administration
- Manage marketing calendars, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain branding consistency across all platforms, materials, and touchpoints.
- Own the full marketing administration: keep internal records, files, assets, and documentation organized and up to date at all times.
- Step in hands-on when subcontractors are unavailable - pragmatically producing materials to keep commercial momentum going.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of experience in marketing and communication; strong preference for real estate, property services, or hospitality.
- Strategic and commercially thinking
- Proven track record developing and executing marketing strategies from scratch.
- Experience managing external agencies and freelancers with a critical, quality-driven approach.
- Strong skills across the full spectrum: digital marketing, content strategy, branding, SEO, paid campaigns, PR.
- Excellent communication in Portuguese and English.
- Tech-savvy and curious - comfortable with AI tools, marketing automation, and new software.
- Familiar with tools such as Mailerlite, Canva, Google/Meta Ads, SEO tools, and CMS platforms.
- Able to work independently, take full ownership, and hold your ground - including pushing back on leadership when the strategy demands it.
- Pragmatic: willing to get your hands dirty and produce work yourself when needed.
- Organized and administratively strong - you keep records, files, and assets in order without being asked.
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct experience in the Portuguese real estate market or property management.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing in real estate (partnerships, investor relations, developer networks).
- Familiarity with the short-term rental (STR) and mid-term rental (MTR) landscape.
