We're Hiring: Senior Manager - Supply Planning
Lisbon Area Pharmaceutical Industry
A growing pharmaceutical organization is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Supply Planning to take ownership of end-to-end supply planning activities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the balance between demand, production and inventory, while maintaining strong service performance and mitigating risks in a regulated environment.
This is a high-impact leadership role offering visibility across the business and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You will drive the overall supply planning strategy, ensuring that demand signals are translated into realistic and efficient operational plans. Working across multiple functions, you will enable alignment between business objectives and operational execution.
A key part of your role will be leading the Supply Planning component of the S&OP / IBP cycle, where you will provide scenario modelling, evaluate trade-offs and support decision-making at a senior level.
In addition, you will take ownership of inventory strategies, defining optimal stock levels and monitoring performance through key supply chain metrics such as service levels, forecast adherence and inventory turnover. Continuous improvement will also be a central focus, as you identify opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency.
Collaboration & Influence
You will act as a central point of coordination between teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, Finance and Regulatory. Your ability to communicate insights clearly and influence stakeholders will be critical in supporting business growth, product launches and operational continuity.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or a related field
- Advanced qualifications (e.g. MBA or postgraduate studies) are a plus
- 8-10+ years of experience in Supply Chain roles
- Strong expertise in supply planning, S&OP / IBP processes and inventory management
- Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries is highly valued
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
