We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer

Main Tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java Spring and React, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend
• Liaise between distributed teams, actively participating in Agile ceremonies and maintaining alignment with project goals
• Provide regular updates on task status, blockers, and timelines during stand-ups and sprint reviews
• Proactively identify and communicate risks, proposing mitigation strategies to minimize project delays
• Create and maintain technical documentation, draft test scenarios, implement automated tests, review code, and manage deployments on OpenShift
• Offer mentorship and technical support to team members, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement

Main Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java (Spring Boot) and React development
• At least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, React, databases, APIs, microservices, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team environment
• Fluency in English is mandatory
