About the Project

This position is offered within a financial services environment aligned with Corporate & Investment Banking, supporting back-office systems related to Collateral and Cash Management.

The project operates in a complex and regulated financial context, relying on robust and scalable technology solutions to ensure operational efficiency, risk control, and regulatory compliance.

The Role

The Senior Java Developer will join a technical team responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical back-office applications.

While the role is connected to systems built on the Calypso platform, prior Calypso experience is considered a plus, not a requirement.

The position involves close collaboration with functional and business teams and offers exposure to complex financial systems in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting back-office processes
• Contribute to solutions related to collateral and cash management
• Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to gather and implement technical requirements
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability and performance
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software development and testing
• Support system integrations within a broader financial technology ecosystem
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6-9 years of experience as a Java Developer in complex or enterprise environments
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Experience working in financial services or regulated environments is highly valued
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Nice to Have

• Experience with Calypso or similar financial platforms
• Knowledge of investment banking back-office operations, particularly collateral and cash
• Exposure to financial markets systems and large-scale architectures
