Senior Java Developer (all genders) Lisbon, Portugal (on-site) Full-time Permanent position

Saxony Media Solutions GmbH is an owner-managed, medium-sized software company based in Dresden, Germany. We specialize in the digitalization of business processes. Our clients include well-known companies such as Deutsche Bahn AG, Robert Bosch GmbH, and the Airbus Group, as well as many successful medium-sized businesses.

In 2024, we opened our new office in Lisbon - and we are now looking for reinforcements on site!

Your responsibilities at SaxMS

• Develop sophisticated user applications and software components in Java, based on Java EE and Spring Boot
• Create modules for our in-house software suite as well as tailored solutions for our customers
• Design and implement new features and functionalities
• Contribute throughout the entire development lifecycle - from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and documentation

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Hands-on experience in developing web applications
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming with Java and relational databases
• A team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for collaborative software development
• Residency in an EU country
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
