Your New Role
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you’ll be part of a mid-level team working on both new and ongoing projects involving embedded electronics for Brushless DC motor control. You’ll be responsible for the full hardware development cycle, including analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, simulation, testing, and design for manufacturability. You’ll collaborate closely with firmware and mechanical engineers, and contribute to functional safety and reliability engineering activities. While not a leadership role, you’ll be expected to support and mentor colleagues, especially junior team members. 

What you’ll need to succeed 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (preferably with a focus on computer systems or physics)
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design, ideally in automotive or industrial sectors 
  • Strong skills in PCB design, circuit simulation, and lab testing
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer and SPICE-based tools
  • Familiarity with IPC standards, EMC practices, and DFM/DFT principles
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (for internal collaboration across European units)
