We are expanding our Finance Team with an ambitious, business minded and motivated Senior GL Accountant with French based in our finance center of excellence in Lisbon. You will be primarily responsible for the GL accounting and tax compliance for the French subsidiaries working closely with other GL accounting and controlling resources. You will also secondarily support other countries.

You will have a wide range of responsibilities including:

• General Accounting including monthly close and excluding most Order to Cash aspects
• Co-Owner of French Tax compliance (VAT, Income Taxes, Local Business Taxes)
• Co-owner of French Financial and tax audits
• Support for cash reconciliation, treasury management and payments
• Support for Supplier invoice processing
• Contribute to process optimization, automation and controls

We prefer you to have:

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in an international context with direct experience with French accounting and tax compliance
• Excellent level of English plus good business French
• Excellent teamwork and communication (written and verbal)
• Strong ERP skills (Business Central will be a plus)
• Strong Excel skills
• High discipline and structure in working with data
• High sense of detail and overview
• Ability to learn, adapt and develop quickly
