Description

• Join a leading independent investment services platform supporting international asset managers and fund sponsors across multiple jurisdictions;
• Take ownership of legal and regulatory projects linked to the full lifecycle of investment funds, with a strong focus on regulated retail fund structures;
• Draft, review and coordinate offering documents, constitutional documents and supporting legal materials;
• Lead fund launches, sub-fund creations, restructurings, mergers, liquidations and other key product events;
• Manage regulatory submissions and interactions with supervisory authorities, ensuring timely and high-quality execution;
• Act as a senior legal advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on fund governance, regulatory requirements and product developments;
• Review and negotiate fund-related agreements and support service provider onboarding and oversight processes;
• Coordinate with external counsel, administrators, custodians, distributors and investment managers throughout project implementation;
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on existing fund structures and documentation;
• Drive complex projects from planning through execution while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards;
• Build trusted relationships with clients and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal guidance.

Profile

• Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification;
• At least 5 years of experience gained within investment funds, regulated financial services, legal advisory or asset management environments;
• Strong expertise in fund documentation, prospectus drafting and regulatory filing processes;
• Solid understanding of investment fund regulation, governance frameworks and lifecycle events;
• Experience managing regulatory approvals, reporting obligations and stakeholder coordination;
• Knowledge of alternative fund structures and related legal requirements is considered advantageous;
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical capabilities;
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
• Commercially minded, solution-oriented and client-focused approach;
• High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail;
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Fluent English and French, with the ability to draft and review legal documentation in both languages.
