We are recruiting a Senior Financial Controller to join our client, a multinational company in the automotive industry with facilities in Maia.

Responsibilities

• Set up the indirect purchasing budget in coordination with the Regional Finance Manager (ICT) and the Purchasing teams;
• Consolidate saving forecasts to support budget construction and target setting;
• Manage periodic forecasts (first revision of the annual budget, and second revision, closer to year-end), yearly expenses, and purchasing performance closing;
• Contribute to the construction of the Purchasing roadmap and RFQ pipeline, ensuring weekly monitoring and execution;
• Control price evolution and keep savings and saving forecasts permanently updated;
• Monitor KPIs of the scope (global APV, savings per sub-workstream, among others);
• Manage the capping report within the defined perimeter;
• Validate and consolidate cost impacts before supplier selection sessions;
• Ensure the robustness of price changes approved in the performance committee.

Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related fields;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Financial Controlling, mandatory in an industrial environment;
• Fluent in English (mandatory);
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and e-procurement tools;
• Experience with Power BI will be valued;
• Strong analytical capacity and ability to manage complex environments;
• Organized, rigorous, agile, and solution-oriented profile;
• Ability to work transversally and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
