We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon.

Position Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with an international team to lead the transformation of a monolithic Java application hosted on Linux servers into a modern microservices architecture. The role is technically challenging, with a focus on infrastructure automation, performance optimization, and achieving scalability and availability using technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments (Mastery level).
• Manage and monitor infrastructure performance and system stability to ensure high availability (Expert level).
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify opportunities for system quality improvement (Expert level).
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across diverse environments to maintain operational efficiency (Expert level).

Required Technical Skills

• At least 15+ years of experience in IT, and 5+ years as DevOps
• Unix / Bash: Mastery level
• Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka: Expert level
• Jenkins: Expert level
• Helm, Gradle (Groovy), Ansible, SQL, Java: Practical level
• ServiceNow: Basic knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent proficiency
