Daymon is the global leader in developing Own Brands for retailers and is currently seeking a Brand & Packaging Senior Designer for its awarded International Design Agency based in Lisbon.


The Senior Designer position at Daymon is one of the references of the Agency's operation standards. It is a key position that represents the Agency's best practices and philosophy. The Senior Designer will:

  • Report to the Agency leadership and be responsible for giving guidance to more junior elements.
  • Actively participate in the Design and conceptualization of new proposals to clients by providing Brand Strategy, Identity and Packaging Design proposals.
  • Manage end-to-end projects, from conceptualization, client presentation to artwork finishing.
  • Need to think strategically on the deliveries, taking decisions regarding Design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Brand Strategy, Brand Identity and Packaging Design proposals from a brief.
  • Deliver top quality and market-leading innovative solutions.
  • Able to conceptualize creative proposals with a storytelling approach.
  • Able to write and speak about its own work, and the work of others and present it to clients.
  • Be able to anticipate and master all the problems in the entire packaging design process taking active decisions.
  • Participate in the creation, editing and finalization of Artworks.
  • Be integrated into a Design Team.
  • Menthor, oversee and guide the work of more junior colleagues.
  • Willing to learn about the world of retail brands and packaging.


Key Requirements:

  • More than 8 years working experience integrated in a Design team, Agency or in a Corporate environment.
  • Understanding Design as a methodology and a key player in brand strategy and innovation.
  • Elevated understanding that Design is a methodology and a key player in brand strategy and a creator of innovation.
  • Great innovative portfolio with Brand Identity and Packaging projects demonstrating conceptualization and thinking ability.
  • Proven experience in solving client briefings from concept to final proposal.
  • Knowledge about printing technologies and capacity to manage player's feedback along the process.
  • Experience in taking strategic decision in Design projects, and in guiding or executing branding projects.
  • Practical understanding of different cultures, as we deliver projects to different countries.
  • International experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience of overseeing and coaching junior Designers is also a plus.


Key Competencies:

  • Graphic Design or General Design Bachelor Degree, Master is a plus.
  • Excellent MAC skills
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suit programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, InDesign, Firefly)
  • Practical knowledge of AI tools (Chat GPT, Barth, Midjourneym, Dall-e, etc.)
  • Print technologies notions.
  • Experience in Photography and post-production.
  • Problem-solving mentality.
  • Able to put strategy before execution.
  • Fully autonomous and project oriented.
  • Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity in client feedback, and contradictory ideas.
  • Great team player.
  • Organized and methodical.
  • Creative spirit and innovative.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
