What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of professional experience working with cloud platforms and services for data engineering (preferably GCP)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams/Connect, Druid, etc
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience using version control tools such as Git
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal
• Fluency in English (B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with other cloud services such as AWS S3 or Azure Data Factory

Important:

This position has na hybrid work model based in Porto. Candidates should be based in Portugal, and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit, to be considered.
