Are you excited by the power of data to transform businesses? One of Asendia's partners is hiring a (Senior) Data Engineer to design and scale cloud-native platforms that deliver real business impact using Azure, Databricks, and Spark.

In this role, you'll architect and optimize robust data pipelines, build high-performance models, and collaborate across tech and business teams to bring data to life. You'll work hands-on with modern tools-from Azure Synapse to Delta Lake-and help shape the future of intelligent data solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build & scale cloud-based data platforms using Azure, Databricks, Spark, Kafka
• Design & implement ETL pipelines and real-time streaming solutions
• Develop high-performance data models (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault)
• Automate deployments through CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts & Business Stakeholders
• Ensure best practices in scalability, maintainability, and performance

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Apache Spark, and Kafka
• Deep understanding of cloud data architecture and data modeling
• Solid experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Azure Data Factory
• Strong business acumen-able to create technical solutions that drive business value
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1); German is a strong plus
