We're hiring: Senior Data Engineer / Data Analyst (Full-Time Lisbon, Hybrid)

Our client is an international organisation advancing a major digital transformation and expanding its data engineering & analytics capabilities. We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Analyst to help deliver scalable data pipelines, trusted datasets, and analytics-ready data products.

What you'll do

Build scalable data pipelines using dbt, Trino, Spark

Perform dimensional modelling (facts/dimensions, star schema)

Write high-quality SQL for transformations and validation

Develop Python scripts for automation & data processing

Support reporting use cases (Power BI is a plus)

Containerise workflows with Docker and support hybrid execution

Ensure data quality, compliance, and documentation

Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders across delivery teams

What we're looking for

Strong experience in data engineering & analytics

Excellent SQL + Python skills

Hands-on experience with dbt

Experience with Trino and/or Spark

Strong modelling mindset and attention to data quality

Comfortable working in English

Seniority requirement (mandatory)

You must meet one of the following:

Master's degree + 10 years of relevant experience

OR

Bachelor's degree + 14 years of relevant experience

Location & setup

Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid / On-site)

Full-time 12-month engagement (extension possible)
