We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the team based in Matosinhos. The role involves analyzing complex datasets to support data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency.

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform statistical analyses and predictive modeling to address business challenges.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Document data analysis processes and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
• Support data migration and integration projects to streamline operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative data solutions.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analytics, engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related field.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in data analytics, including the development of analytical models, dashboards, and insight-driven reporting.
• Experience in internal audit, external audit, risk, internal control, or compliance environments is a plus.
• Exposure to project-based analytical work or cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable audit and business insights.
• Solid technical skills in SQL; experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Strong experience with analytics and BI platforms and data access solutions.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics and AI/machine learning concepts as applied to data analysis.
• Good understanding of data quality, data validation, and data lifecycle management.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
