Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Hybrid 3 days a week in office
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting solution delivery across complex projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document business objectives, requirements, processes, and challenges.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and model current-state and future-state processes (using BPMN, flowcharts, etc.).
- Work closely with product managers, solution architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support solution design, ensuring alignment with business requirements and organizational goals.
- Assist in UAT planning, execution, and issue tracking with stakeholders and testers.
- Conduct impact analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments as part of change management initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of key business milestones.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding.
- Continuously identify improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimization and innovation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, consulting, or business transformation environments.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process modeling, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- JIRA / Confluence
- Microsoft Visio / Lucidchart
- Excel, PowerPoint
- Balsamiq / Figma / Wireframing tools (optional)
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
