Position: Senior Business Analyst - SEPA

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Type: Fulltime, Hybrid from Lisbon (2-3 days onsite per week)

Languages: French (minimum C1)

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team, with specialized knowledge in bank transfers and the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) framework. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and innovation of our payment processes. Your focus will be on optimizing bank transfer workflows, ensuring SEPA compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry.
• Proven expertise in bank transfer processes, payment systems, and SEPA regulations.
• Experience with other payment schemes (SWIFT, Instant Payments) is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and collaboration with IT teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Project management skills with experience in end-to-end process coordination.
• Mandatory fluency in French (minimum C1)
• Availability for a hybrid working model, based in Lisbon.

Key Responsabilities:

• Gather and document business requirements for bank transfer solutions and SEPA compliance.
• Analyze market trends and regulations affecting bank transfers to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation (Specifications, Functional Design Document, Strategy and Test Plan, procedures, and risk analysis).
• Conduct functional design, requirements gathering, and provide continuous business support.
• Lead preparation, execution, and follow-up of production deployment activities.
• Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure solutions meet functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in current systems and processes related to bank transfers.
