Our client, a leading player in the fintech and investment banking sector, is currently seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining backend systems using Node.js and Nest.js
• Integrating with MySQL databases to ensure robust data management
• Leveraging AWS services for infrastructure and deployment
• Collaborating with frontend engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end integration using TypeScript
• Implementing third-party tools such as FusionAuth, Retool, Twilio, SendGrid, and Tally
• Participating in code reviews and maintaining high code quality
• Supporting and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
• Working within an agile team to deliver features and improvements

Job Requirements:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of MySQL databases and related technologies
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Kubernetes (K8S)
• Proficient in using GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable integrating third-party applications and services
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
