Your new role

The KBS Senior Analyst, Business Systems will lead the team which is responsible for the delivery of the Finance, HR and Procurement reporting that underpin the KBS’ global processes for R2D, Q2C, P2P, P2R and S2P. A key part of the role will be the ability to develop and manage relationships and effectively collaborate with other KBS Leads across Finance, HR and Procurement, Global Process Owners, our third-party vendors and other delivery partners. The Senior Analyst, Business Systems will be required to execute the following responsibilities:

  • Support and enforce adherence to the Data Governance framework in conjunction with the MDM team that drives data quality assurance and trusted reporting and data sets.

  • Partner with Global Process Owners and other Kantar stakeholders to understand, review and prioritize reporting requirements that underpin the signed off global processes for Finance, HR and Procurement.

  • Support the Data Insights team on understanding transactional data for performance management, variance analysis and ad-hoc queries from senior management.

  • Establish Demand and Incident Management processes to identify requirements and troubleshoot technical and business problems with the underlying transactional data and data structures.

  • Translate new requirements into the relevant functional specifications for technical teams to design, build and test reports using the most appropriate solution.

  • Accountable for meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of KBS performance and delivery, working alongside Tower Leads and third-party vendor leads as required.

  • Support the KBS Reporting and Analytics lead in the stabilisation and growth of KBS Reporting & Analytics CoE, including the on-going transition of additional services into KBS and the development of internal capabilities within the wider organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree level education in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience working within a cross functional Global Business Services (GBS) environment.

  • Ability to build and present business insights at the enterprise, division, and market level with lenses on other key demographics, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, for executive level review.

  • Deep understanding of ERP Reporting Platforms (SAP, Oracle, IFS) and Budgeting and Financial Consolidation Solutions (Onestream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion HFM).

  • Basic report writing skills and dashboard development with native ERP reporting writing tools and BI Applications such as Business Objects, Oracle BI or Cognos.

  • Advanced Excel user.

  • Has worked as part of a Financial Reporting team involved in the month end close process and is diligent in meeting the required deadlines for this.

  • Proven experience succeeding in complex, matrix and cross functional projects with the ability to inspire and influence across the organisation.

  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
