Were Hiring Senior Accountant

 

We are looking for a Senior Accountant for a multinational client headquartered in Porto.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting and monthly/year-end closings
• Prepare and analyse financial reports and statements
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Propose and implement improvements in accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Collaborate in internal and external audits
• Oversee treasury functions and support the accounting team
• Provide management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations

 

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus)
• Certified Accountant (OCC Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados)
• 5 to 8 years of experience in the field
• Strong knowledge of SNC, IFRS, and GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems and financial modelling
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
