To learn more about Ferring or its products please visit Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.

Your new role 

The Scrum Master is a servant leader who will enable our teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices. You will ensure that the team delivers on time and with the expected quality the features and stories which have been defined in the team backlog. You will also monitor and track progress and provide timely positive and constructive feedback. You will have to facilitate the creation of an environment in which the team can be effective, by addressing team dynamics, helping the team to resolve interpersonal conflicts and challenges, as well as providing opportunities for growth. You will be responsible for ensuring a strong and trusted working relationship between the team and product owner, as well as others outside the team. You will ensure regular and fluent communication between the Product Owner and the teams. You will support the adoption of methodology/Agile principles on the team level, host daily team meetings to coordinate the team, address any potential roadblocks, and ensure that the team is on track. You will also be in charge of the arrangement and facilitation of the other Scrum events at the team level. Finally, you will inform and align with the key stakeholders, together with the Product Owner; and ensure the correct implementation of Scrum within the team and organisation.

What you´ll need to succeed  

We are looking for a talented individual with several years experience in agile, and specifically with the SAFe methodology. You will be a proactive and collaborative individual, with strong people and change agility. You will have the inter-personal skills to work across different teams and contexts and will be able to deliver results through and with people. You are a strong problem solver and communicator, with high drive for results, and the ability to operate successfully in a dynamic environment.
