Your new role
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a key role in supporting and accelerating Agile adoption, acting as a coach, facilitator and change agent. Your scope goes well beyond facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
You will guide teams in the practical application of Agile principles, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities across Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Scrum Masters. In parallel, you will contribute to organisational-level Agile transformation initiatives, promoting a strong Agile mindset and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Championing Agile principles, Software Craftsmanship and practices such as XP, FDD and Agile BABOK
- Coaching teams and stakeholders to maximise the value of Agile ways of working
- Partnering closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritise backlogs based on value delivery
- Proactively identifying and removing impediments, whether technical, organisational or people-related
- Mentoring teams towards high levels of autonomy and self-organisation
- Collaborating with other Scrum Masters to share best practices and ensure consistent Agile adoption
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in mature Agile environments
- Strong coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills
- Solid technical background, with previous experience as a software developer and a deep understanding of engineering practices
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or complex environments, with strong conflict-management capabilities
- Fluency in English and French
- A genuine, open and collaborative personality, with a good sense of humour and a passion for Agile
