Role Overview:

We are looking for a Scala Developer to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams working fully remote for one of our clients, a multinational company from the Logistics & Supply Chain sector.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Scala & Java as the main technologies;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance systems;
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions with a focus on functional programming principles;
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code;
• Integrate and support RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups;
• Help implement and improve CI/CD pipelines;
• Ensure high quality through unit and integration testing.

What you are like:

• Have at least 3 years of experience developing with Scala and a minimum of 1 year experience with Java development;
• Familiar with tools like Git, JIRA, and CI/CD systems;
• Have experience building and consuming REST APIs;
• Comfortable working in a remote/distributed team;
• Proficient in English (as you will maintain daily contact with international teams).
