Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.

Your new role

Your main responsibility as a SAP S/4 HANA Security Architect is to support the SAP security and authorization environment, which includes support for all security roles, profiles and detailed knowledge of Profile Generator within the SAP systems, this means the overall design and approach to SAP security across Ferring’s SAP system (development, BAU, handover and support).

You will assist in the designing, documenting standards and procedures for SAP user administration, outlining security creation and maintenance.? Also, it is expected that you provide support for the associated SAP environments for interfaces, workflow, SAP Cloud Platform and other core SAP components.? Moreover, you will assist the functional business leads to address their security needs within SAP, as well as assist with the appropriate SAP functional and technical teams to address audit and compliance requirements.?

As a SAP S/4 HANA Security Architect, you need to be able to:

Process daily security requests; Review SAP security reports for daily function; Assist with review and distribute monitoring results for correct authorization in the lower environments (sandbox, development, quality, and training) including cleanup users, roles, groups, etc to maintain correct authorizations in the SAP environment; Assist with audit checks of users in the portal environment; Assist with audit checks on security roles; Have a strong SAP GRC knowledge; Act in compliance with GxP, CSV, GDPR and all other global and local requirements; Ensure that security processes and the required IT solution meet the regulatory and business requirements?.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a talented individual with three to five years of expertise in SAP S/4 Hana in application area, ideally in life sciences with Cloud projects experience. ?You will make use of your ability to assist/drive solution and process design discussions understanding of business processes in application area, including integration points with other areas. Experience working with Agile Delivery principles and frameworks will be valued.

Regarding experience with relevant S/4 Hana levels, knowledge of HANA / Fiori roles and authorizations is asked, as well as: ERP, Solution Manager and Fiori knowledge.

You will also have the opportunity of applying your knowledge of segregation of duties within a SAP environment and to design and build SAP roles accordingly, as well as your knowledge of authorisation reporting and troubleshooting transaction codes or tools, including SE16, SU22, SU24, S25, SU53, SU56, ST01, SUIM and PFCG.

Good communication skills are essential for this role.
