The Project Manager for SAP Public Cloud Implementation will oversee the implementation and optimization of diverse SAP modules in the business units and companies of this multinational company. Based in Porto, this role requires strong expertise in SAP systems and project management methodologies.

Description

The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Plan and manage the full life cycle of SAP projects;
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget;
• Coordinate cross-departmental teams to implement SAP solutions effectively;
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP system configurations;
• Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies as needed;
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress;
• Act as a point of contact for SAP-related queries and troubleshooting;
• Stay updated on SAP advancements to recommend system improvements.

Profile

A successful SAP Project Manager should have:

• Demonstrated capability in leading financial process improvements, with a strong analytical background;
• Proven experience managing SAP projects in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, or Real Estate or Engineering & Construction Sector;
• Strong knowledge of SAP system modules and configurations, namely: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting), SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning & Reporting), SAP Cash Management, SAP Budgeting and Planning, SAP Procurement:
• Excellent project management skills, including risk assessment and resource allocation;
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities;
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage;
• A degree in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in SAP or project management (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus.
