Your new role
This position plays a key role in the organisation’s digital transformation journey, supporting the design and optimisation of logistics and supply chain processes through SAP. Integrated into a mature SAP team with over two decades of experience, the consultant will work on end-to-end SAP initiatives — from Business Analysis and Solution Design to Configuration, Implementation, Integration, Testing, and ongoing Support.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting multiple international sites, and contributing to projects focused on automation, real-time data integration, sustainability solutions, and next-generation manufacturing capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business users to gather and document requirements for logistics and supply chain processes.
- Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for optimisation or automation through SAP Logistics modules.
- Configure SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, QM, WM) and participate in implementation and rollout projects.
- Create functional specifications, technical documentation, and training materials.
- Ensure integration between logistics modules and other SAP areas (e.g., FI/CO).
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing; troubleshoot issues pre- and post-go-live.
- Provide ongoing support, training and enhancements as part of the SAP team.
- Collaborate with technical, operations, IT, automation, and design experts on strategic digital initiatives.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar.
- 4+ years of experience with ERP systems and at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation in logistics modules.
- Strong functional expertise in logistics and supply chain processes, including integration with PP and WM.
- Interest or experience in SAP technical environments, interfaces, and connectivity solutions.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and verbal).
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in international environments and independently with a proactive mindset.
