Your New Role
As an SAP FI Consultant, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver tailored SAP solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance. This role requires a strong functional understanding of finance, hands-on SAP configuration experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead the analysis and mapping of clients’ financial processes to SAP FI/CO functionalities.
• Configure and implement SAP FI/CO modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Participate in full-cycle SAP projects, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user support to ensure successful adoption of SAP solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls within the SAP environment.
• Contribute to the development of internal methodologies, templates, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Stay up to date with SAP innovations, particularly in S/4HANA and cloud-based solutions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO implementation and support projects
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, cost controlling, and reporting requirements
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (especially Public Cloud) is highly desirable
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver high-quality documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, client-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements, if required
