Your new role
As SAP EWM Specialist, you will play a key role in the transformation and standardisation of warehouse and logistics processes across an international business environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and local operations to design, improve and support SAP EWM solutions, ensuring they are scalable, efficient and aligned with a global template. This role combines functional ownership, hands-on SAP EWM expertise, process optimisation, rollout support and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on automation, warehouse technologies and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure and improve SAP EWM solutions in line with business requirements and global process standards.
- Support the harmonisation and optimisation of warehouse processes, ensuring consistency across different sites and countries.
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Contribute to process redesign initiatives, using SAP EWM capabilities to improve efficiency, automation and scalability.
- Support SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare phases.
- Manage incidents, service requests and enhancements, ensuring timely resolution and strong user support.
- Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement across warehouse and logistics operations.
- Ensure proper integration with SAP S/4HANA and related systems, including relevant cross-module dependencies.
- Produce and maintain functional documentation, process flows, configuration information and user guidance.
- Support training and knowledge transfer activities to encourage adoption of new SAP EWM processes and solutions.
- Promote digital warehouse operations, including automation, shopfloor execution, RF devices and integration with external warehouse technologies.
- Collaborate with multicultural and distributed teams across different geographies.
What you will need to succeed
- Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Management or a related area.
- 3 to 5+ years of practical experience with SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics processes, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, physical inventory and warehouse execution.
- Experience designing, analysing and improving end-to-end SAP EWM processes.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments and integration with other SAP modules.
- Knowledge of cross-module integration with areas such as procurement, production, sales, PP and QM.
- Previous experience in SAP implementation, rollout or template-driven projects will be highly valued.
- Ability to work closely with business teams, understand operational needs and convert them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability and attention to process quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in international environments.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Spanish and/or French will be considered a plus.
- Availability to travel for international projects and rollouts.
- Proactive, autonomous and improvement-oriented mindset, with the ability to challenge existing processes and propose better ways of working.
