About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on SAP Data Migration Lead to drive the end-to-end execution of a complex, multi-wave SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role will lead data conversion activities across multiple business units and legacy ERP systems, ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable data migration using Syniti Data Migration.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in SAP data migration, especially with Syniti's ADM platform, and is comfortable navigating across functional, technical, and business domains. This is a critical leadership role, requiring coordination with senior stakeholders, global teams, and implementation partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall data migration strategy for SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise applications, tailored per rollout phase.

• Conduct workshops to align business and technical teams on migration scope, source-to-target mappings, cleansing rules, and to-be data models.

• Manage end-to-end data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, transformation, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and load.

• Lead the creation of ETL designs and custom transformations, leveraging Syniti tools (ADM, SKP, Collect, Construct, etc.).

• Oversee mock loads, data cutovers, dress rehearsals, and production go-lives, ensuring data readiness and alignment with the deployment timeline.

• Ensure the application of data governance, security, and quality controls, integrating audit trails, exception handling, and long-term integrity checks.

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, PMO, implementation partners, and business stakeholders to resolve blockers, identify risks, and ensure execution continuity.

• Mentor junior data team members and promote best practices across global teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP data migration and data leadership roles, including at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations

• Proven success in S/4HANA transformation programs, handling greenfield migrations

• Expertise in Syniti Data Migration Suite (ADM, SKP) and hands-on experience designing scalable, repeatable migration templates and workflows

• Strong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and enterprise database management

• Experience with SAP data loading technologies including IDoc, BAPI, ABAP, LSMW, and LTMC

• Familiarity with ETL tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS) and experience with manual and programmatic transformations is highly valued

• Functional knowledge of key SAP modules: SD, MM, FICO, and PP

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to lead cross-functional, global teams in complex, distributed environments and across time zones

• Prior SAP consulting experience with a top-tier SI or transformation partner is preferred
