Your new role

This position will be a member of SAP COE team, reporting to an Head of SAP. 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to internal, partners, and customers in driving SAP BTP discussions and its implementation.
• Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration as well as application development and promote best practices in these areas.
• Contribute to project planning and scoping activities to ensure successful implementations.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.
• Drive application Integration strategy including roadmap definition and execution in collaboration with the various Technology teams like Cloud Integration, Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture.
• Manages, mentors, and encourages the team working within SAP Integration; handling performance, goals and development potential and build capability and community of practitioners.
• Understand best practice usage of SAP BTP services in alignment with SAP's guidelines, aware of major SAP BTP trends and changes in processes, tools and standards.
• Lead architecture design workshops and build/integrate/deploy state-of-the-art architecture for SAP and non-SAP applications on SAP BTP Cloud and End to End Process design using standard protocols and technologies.

 

What you will need to succeed

• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on Knowledge of SAP BTP (SAP Cloud Foundry & SAP NEO platform) , Integration Suites and API Management
• Extensive experience in Design, develop and delivering Integration in SAP PI/PO and SAP B2B Integration and any other EDI platforms like GXS, IBM Sterling, etc
• Experience with different integration architecture principles, patterns and protocols;
• Experience with designing and implementing Integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite including Event driven approach
• Experience in configuration and extension of standard iFlows, in defining custom iFlows, local & exception sub-processes, exception handling
• Expertise in handling various integration adapters (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, Process Direct, REST Adapters) for creating efficient, scalable, and maintainable applications, to exchange messages between sender and receiver
• Experience with end-to-end integration development including RFC/BAPI/IDOC/OData related development
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in ABAP for RAP and Node.js or Java for CAP. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is beneficial.
• Fluency in English
