We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in Porto - Portugal. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships within target markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with excellent sales skills and a passion for the vehicle and automation industry.


Responsibilities


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the vehicle and automation industry, including OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand technical requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, and quotes, negotiating terms and closing deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company, reporting on sales activities and performance regularly.



Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
  • Previous exposure to technical sales, preferably within the vehicle or automation industry.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
