We are recruiting a Risk Officer to strengthen Banco Finantia's Risk Department:

Main responsibilities:

• Calculating exposures to financial risks and validating that they remain within the established limits;
• Producing and automating various regular financial risk monitoring reports, particularly for the business areas and monthly for the Executive Committee;
• Carrying out analyses to calibrate the limits applicable to risk metrics;
• Participating in the maintenance and control of the Risk Appetite Framework - RAF;
• Control the valuation of the securities and derivatives portfolio;
• Participating in the development of methodologies and calculation of results in the ICAAP and ILAAP processes;
• Participating in the preparation of information for internal and external auditors and regulators;
• Reviewing the Group's procedures for controlling and mitigating risks, proposing control processes and metrics;
• Interacting with international subsidiaries on a regular basis to ensure access to information and the alignment of risk control procedures with those of the Group;
• Continuous monitoring of risk legislation and guidelines.

Desired profile:

• Degree/Master's in Management, Economics, Statistics, Maths or similar;
• At least 3 to 5 years' experience in an equivalent position (preferably in Big 4 or financial institutions), preferably in financial risks;
• Previous experience of ICAAP and ILAAP (preferred);
• Good knowledge of financial calculations and risk quantification methodologies;
• Solid knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, SAP, BO, Kondor, Midas) and programming languages (VB, SQL);
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) required and Spanish (preferred);
• Versatility;
• Relationship skills;

• Teamwork;
• Sense of responsibility and commitment.
