Our client is the largest vehicle remarketing business in Europe. The company operates a digital marketplace that facilitates the buying and selling of used vehicles for automotive professionals. It provides a full suite of services, from logistics and inspection to documentation and financing.

Our client is looking for a Reward Specialist Manager to lead the design and delivery of the reward and benefits strategy across Europe, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and strong stakeholder alignment.

Description

  • Design and implement the reward and benefits framework, including salary structures, job levelling, and total reward strategy.
  • Lead the annual compensation cycle (merit, bonus, benchmarking) across multiple countries.
  • Develop a roadmap to automate reward processes within the HRIS (People System).
  • Manage market benchmarking and job evaluations with survey providers (e.g., WTW).
  • Ensure compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and local compensation regulations.
  • Build and maintain data models and dashboards (ideally in PowerBI) to support reward analysis.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CHRO and senior leadership on all reward-related matters.
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, HR, and external vendors to drive consistency and alignment.
  • Deliver training and communication to managers and HR colleagues on reward programs.

Profile

  • Proven experience in reward/compensation roles, ideally in multi-country or European environments.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with advanced Excel knowledge; PowerBI is a plus.
  • Track record in managing or supporting compensation cycles (salary reviews, bonus schemes).
  • Solid understanding of reward governance, compliance, and compensation regulations.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (ideally supporting reward cycle configuration).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (other European languages are an advantage).

Desirable

  • Experience with WTW or similar market surveys.
  • CIPD or World at Work certification.
  • Background in building reward strategies in start-up or low-maturity contexts.
  • Familiarity with compensation technology (ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.).
