The Role: Release Manager Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location: Lisbon
Work Model: hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office
Sector: Financial Services
? Languages: English (C1)
Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there
Mandatory Requirements (Non Negotiable)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or Release Manager in a SAFe environment
- Hands on experience leading at least one Agile Release Train end to end
- Strong practical knowledge of SAFe execution at train level
- Mandatory Certification: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Nice to have:
- Additional SAFe certifications (Advanced RTE, SSM, POPM)
- Experience working in multi entity or enterprise scale organizations
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Agile Release Train (ART) execution across planning, delivery, and continuous improvement cycles
- Facilitate key SAFe events, including PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt
- Manage cross team dependencies, risks, and impediments to ensure smooth delivery
- Act as a key point of coordination between business, IT, and senior stakeholders
- Promote delivery predictability, flow, and continuous alignment with business objectives
