The purpose of the Regional IT Manager position is to take responsibility for IT in all regional schools and office and support the business in the optimization of business processes.
The Regional IT manager is responsible to run IT Operations & Projects, manage agreed service levels, ensuring day-to-day activities and a state-of-the-art service is delivered to the business.


Business Relationship Management

  • Act as the Business Relationship Manager on Local Management teams with key role to establish and maintain working relationships across group and all functions/departments;
  • Deeply understand the local business processes and local market opportunities/challenges to identify potential IT solutions to meet the requirements.

Project Management

  • Lead and Supervise IT projects ensuring that the project targets are delivered on time, in scope and within budget;
  • Establish and ensure successful Project Management (structure, roles & responsibilities, execution) in accordance with project methodology agreed.

IT Controlling

  • Review, manage and optimize the IT budget.

IT Service Management

  • Review, lead and supervise IT services (infrastructure and applications);
  • Steer IT service delivery via defined Service Level Agreements, OLAs, external contracts with suppliers and operational KPIs;
  • Ensure a high level of service according to ITIL best practices (staff, skills, processes, methods and tools) is delivered to the business.

Continuous improvement

  • Continuously improve service management processes and performance metrics in alignment with existing IT operating model and IT guidelines;
  • Increase and continuously improve the IT maturity Level at the schools.

Governance & Documentation

  • Lead and monitor the IT Governance model ensuring compliance with company policies, IT guidelines and security standards;
  • Ensure IT License and Asset Management and drive a structured IT Risk Management for IT service.

Major results and/or performance levels expected

  • Measure IT services as part of the IT Balanced Score Card (KPIs);
  • Increasing and continuously improving local IT services compared with previous years.


Degree in IT or equivalent level of knowledge and understanding gained by previous experience;

Proven work experience as an IT Manager;

In-depth knowledge of how to manage an IT department;

Experience managing IT Budget, IT Governance and Project Management;

Capacity to review, lead and supervise IT services (infrastructure and applications);

Good skills in Team Management;

Knowledge with ITIL;

Good English level;
