We are currently recruiting for a Shared Service Center looking to expand their team. As a Controlling Specialist, you will be an intricate part of setting up financial planning, budget control and reporting policies for the operating units as well as analyse financial data and results, report on findings and formulate recommendations and call to action in line with financial & business plan in order to advise and support management in the realization of the objectives in terms of efficiency, cost control, sales and profitability sharing
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of analysis of costs, profitability, KPI and providing advice to action to management in a proactive manner in line with business strategy and internal (reporting) guidelines.
- Participation in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and plans - support for the Regional Head of Controlling.
- Coordination of monthly closing and responsibility for the preparation of corresponding reporting package.
- Ensure the analysis relating to any gaps between budget and realization, forecast and realization – support for the Regional Head of Controlling.
- Cooperation with other departments to obtain the data necessary for management reporting.
- Calculation and analyse of production costs, standard costs of items and their yearly update.
- Finished Goods sales prices calculations and update, cooperation with other departments to obtain the data needed for the valuation.
- Ensure that the principles, definitions and rules in the scope of FICO processes are respected and realised to ensure the reporting quality
- Providing needed documentation and response towards internal and external audit, working on audit non conformities items in order to correct any identified problems or concerns.
What you'll need to succeed:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Controlling area, ideally in a production environment
- BSc in Finance/Controlling/Economy/Accountancy or equivalent field of study
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office
- Experience in working in SAP FI-CO modules
- Excellent communication and analytical skills (talent for numbers)
- Fluent in English
