Adecco Permanent Recruitment is hiring a Record to Report Team Leader for a GBS client based in Porto.

Responsibilities

Build and Lead the R2R Tower in Porto Establish, scale, and lead a high-performing R2R Tower within the GBS organization. Play a key role in the ramp-up and transition of activities, partnering closely with the Global R2R lead, Global Process Owner and transition teams to ensure operational readiness, effective knowledge transfer, and a successful service take-over.

Own End-To-End R2R Service Delivery and Financial Close Oversee the delivery of all Record-to-Report processes to ensure operational excellence. Lead and orchestrate monthly, quarterly, and year-end IFRS closing processes across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting to the Group.

Drive operational excellence, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Act as the key interface between local finance teams, Corporate Accounting, and external stakeholders while coordinating global internal and external audits and ensuring audit readiness across the organization.

Drive Reporting Excellence Enforcing standardization, simplification, and digitalization of the R2R landscape by promoting global process standards and leveraging tech opportunities. Actively contribute towards the continuous evolution of the R2R operating model.

Act as a Trusted Partner Build strong relationships across the Finance function, Market organizations, and Global Process Owners. Align on priorities and proactively manage risks to ensure the R2R Tower delivery the services that creates measurable value for the business.

YOUR PROFILE

Successfully completed a bachelors or masters degree in Business Administration, Finance / Accounting or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications and sound IFRS knowledge are a strong advantage.

Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, including leading and developing operational teams, ideally within a Shared Services, Global Business Services, or Business Process Outsourcing environment.

Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams in a dynamic environment. Bring an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate change and contribute to the successful ramp-up of the R2R Tower.

Solid end-to-end understanding of Record-to-Report processes with proven track record in driving global process standardization and optimization.

Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at different organizational levels. Skilled in managing complex stakeholder landscapes, aligning priorities and balancing competing priorities.

High degree of independence, personal ownership, and resilience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional and international environment. Portuguese and additional language capabilities are considered an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
