Our client wants to recruit a Quality Specialist, someone who will be an integral part of the quality team, ensuring and contributing for the department's efficiency and effectiveness. The candidate will play an important role defining procedures, suggesting changes and improvements, as well as guaranteeing compliance with regulatory norms and certifications.

Description

• Maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) in conformity with GACP and GMP criteria;
• Daily management and maintenance of the QMS;
• Preparation of the documentation for inspections/audits and respective CAPA Plan;
• Aid in the process for the export and import of Medical Cannabis into foreign markets;
• Create procedures as well as any other support documentation;
• Batch Records Review;
• Issuance and review of deviations, change controls and complaints;
• Execute internal and external audits;
• Aid with supplier qualification;
• Ensure quality requirements for raw materials, key components and services;
• Elaborate and/or review validation protocols/ reports, as well as qualification documentation (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ);
• Provide internal training on matters pertaining to the QMS;
• Manage non-conformities and apply corrective action;
• Preparation and review of Product Quality Review;
• Implement strategies for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Profile

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent;
• 3+ years of previous experience in a similar position;
• Previous experience and knowledge of the Cannabis industry is preferred;
• Solution-oriented and priority management;
• Flexibility and efficiency when working through period of fast change/growth;
• Strong team management skills;
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills;
• Fluency in English (compulsory).
