About the Role:

Engagement Type: Outsourced Contractor (via third-party agency)

Location: Portugal (remote work)

Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for renewal)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PR and social media strategies aligned with Portugal market objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local Portuguese media, key influencers, and industry partners.
• Lead PR initiatives including press releases, media pitches, and local events.
• Collaborate closely with local brand management and cross-functional teams to ensure message consistency and business alignment.
• Monitor and engage with Portuguese audiences across social platforms, responding to inquiries and feedback promptly.
• Stay current with local market trends, platform updates, and PR best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on PR and social media experience, preferably in the Portuguese market.
• Proven track record of designing and executing integrated PR/social campaigns.
• Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken), with strong storytelling ability.
• Expertise in social media platforms, analytics tools, and community management.
• Ability to work independently under an outsourced model while collaborating effectively with local and remote teams.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
