Viridis Talent is proud to be partnering with one of Portugal's most exciting renewable energy developers as they expand their team in Lisbon. Backed by significant new funding and with one of the largest project pipelines in Central & Southern Portugal, our client is widely recognised as a regional leader in utility-scale Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind.

We are now hiring a Project Development Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering high-impact clean energy projects across the region.

Your Role

• Lead the end-to-end development of utility-scale renewable energy projects - from land acquisition through to permitting and grid connection.
• Coordinate with internal teams, local authorities, grid operators, landowners, and consultants.
• Navigate environmental and permitting regulations in Portugal.
• Drive project timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.
• Support the transition from development to construction phase.

Your Background

• Proven experience in the development of renewable energy projects in Portugal.
• Strong knowledge of local permitting processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and good English skills.
• Passion for clean energy and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
