Description
We are looking for a commercially driven Product Manager to lead the Consumer Electronics product category in the Portuguese market. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the local product strategy for the portfolio, balancing customer insight, market trends, and business growth objectives.
Product Ownership & Strategy:
- Manage the full lifecycle of the products-from local launch planning to post-launch performance analysis.
- Define and maintain the local product roadmap, ensuring alignment with EMEA strategies.
- Adapt global product offers and positioning to fit local consumer preferences and market conditions.
Commercial Focus:
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing teams to drive revenue and market share.
- Define product mix, pricing strategies, and promotional mechanics tailored to Portuguese retail and e-commerce channels.
- Monitor product P&L, optimize margins, and ensure inventory health in coordination with supply and demand planning.
Market Insight & Competitive Positioning:
- Analyze Portuguese market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity in the Consumer Electronics segment.
- Conduct pricing, feature, and value proposition benchmarking to guide positioning and differentiation.
- Collect and prioritize local consumer feedback to influence product enhancements or future line-ups.
Go-to-Market & Channel Support:
- Support and execute product launches in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams.
- Develop local product messaging and assets for retail partners, e-tailers, and digital campaigns.
- Train sales and retail partners on product USPs and support key customer engagements.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in product management, category management, or trade marketing in consumer electronics.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail dynamics in Portugal.
- Solid analytical skills with experience working with sell-in/sell-out data and market intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
