ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join the Procurement team. This individual will be responsible for handling a diverse and challenging range of daily procurement activities within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and will routinely interact with suppliers and colleagues world-wide.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• End-to-End Procurement: Support daily procurement activities including sourcing a wide variety of goods and services in compliance with established procurement policies and procedures.
• Spend Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize reduce or eliminate spend activities and identify potential alternative suppliers and purchase options.
• Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers on various aspects of a purchase for goods or services, including pricing, expected deliverables, and purchase terms and conditions to align with purchase requirements and acceptable corporate contractual risk tolerance.
• Supplier Evaluation and Analysis: Evaluate supplier proposals and bid responses in order to provide detailed analysis on most cost-effective purchase options.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of purchase requirements and expected deliverables, and assist our internal stakeholders with obtaining required purchase approvals.
• Finance Collaboration: Coordination with the Finance team to ensure accurate processing of spend activities with the proper accounting assignments and alignment to established budgetary framework.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in Procurement (3-5 years)
• Experience handling purchase negotiations
• Enthusiastic teamwork and collaboration mindset
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a fast-moving environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in English and Portuguese
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• SAP ERP experience is a plus
