Your new company

A leading company in supply chain solutions is looking for a Purchaser (m/f/d) to reinforce their Procurement & Purchasing team.

Your new role

• Prepare the strategy for all category management activities;
• Lead the process of identifying new suppliers and managing the portfolio of current ones of all strategic categories of material; 
• Establish and maintain a supplier base strategy according to purchase categories strategy;
• Support the operational purchasing requests for Materials, Equipments and Services;
• Execute Purchase Orders and/or contract if required;
• Support and assist in the supplier negotiation processes in the technical, financial and delivery aspects;
• Collaborate with the various areas of the company, in order to ensure and promote compliance with the principles,procedures and rules to be followed in the purchasing processes;
• Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods;
• Execute the reporting of performance indicators, to provide the necessary information for decision making processes.

What you'll need to suceed

• Higher education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another field relevant to the role (plus); 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or category management roles;
• Solid or specialized technical knowledge in purchasing processes and negotiation;
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus);
• Advanced skills in MS Office;
• Fluency in English;
• Planning and organizational skills;
• Excellent time and priority management.
