Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Powerplant Systems Specialist for an exciting permanent position based in Portugal on behalf of a prestigious executive jet client to support their maintenance and engineering departments through maintenance activities for Engine and APU systems/equipment.

This position will play a vital role in achieving the highest levels of safety, performance, and reliability throughout their fleet of aircraft whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday based in their main office.

Key responsibilities within the opportunity will include:

Supporting the Fleet Products Manager with the development and powerplant data requirements,

The identification of fleet improvements that would improve safety or operational capabilities,

Coordinating the implementation of mandatory and optional fleet powerplant modifications,

Reviewing reliability reports and fleet related discrepancies,

Establishing contacts with each of the powerplant OEM representatives and vendors to ensure parts availability.

Our ideal candidate will hold the following experience:

Operational powerplant experience within EASA part CAMO, or Part 145 organisations,

Knowledge and understanding of Powerplants (preferably business jet or similar sized),

The ability to understand and interpret contract conditions regarding OEMs,

Technical knowledge with engine compliance and SB/AD rectifications.
