Your new RoleAs the Technology PMO Lead, you will lead a team of PMO Specialists and serve as a key driver of project governance, portfolio analytics and continuous improvement across the HAVI Technology portfolio. You will own and evolve the frameworks, methodologies, and tools that support project and program planning, monitoring and strategic alignment.
In close collaboration with the Delivery Lead and project managers, your role focuses on ensuring consistency, transparency, and quality in how projects and programs are governed, analyzed, and reported — rather than overseeing their direct execution. You will also be responsible for driving improvements in project and program management practices, leveraging lessons learned, performance insights, and best practices to enhance delivery effectiveness.
This role requires a strong ability to lead through influence, coach others in governance and reporting standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the PMO and across delivery teams.

Key responsibilities include:
Project Governance & Methodology
- Own and evolve governance frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Define and maintain methodologies, templates, and tools for structured delivery.
- Ensure compliance by the stakeholders with stage gate processes and governance forums.
Portfolio Monitoring & Analytics- Develop and manage dashboards and reports for full portfolio visibility.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver insights to leadership and support resolution of portfolio-level issues.
Project Controls & Compliance
- Oversee controls such as financial tracking, risk logs, and milestone monitoring.
- Conduct reviews and compliance checks to ensure governance standards are met.
- Drive corrective actions where gaps are identified.
Continuous Improvement
- Promote a culture of learning and operational excellence.
- Lead initiatives based on lessons learned, performance data, and best practices.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and adoption of effective tools across teams.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Support
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing PMO team.
- Provide onboarding, training, and support to project stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Delivery Leads, Project Managers, and Functional Leadership.
Strategic Engagement
- Align governance with execution in close collaboration with the Delivery Lead.
- Act as a key interface for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative improvements to PMO practices.
What you will need to succeed:
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT or related field; Master’s is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred; Lean, Six Sigma or similar are an advantage.
- Experience leading or working in a PMO, with strong exposure to governance, reporting and continuous improvement.
- Background as a Project Manager is essential.
- Experience managing or coaching teams, ideally in matrixed or global environments.
- Solid knowledge of project/program methodologies (Stage Gate, Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Proven ability to design and implement standards, templates and delivery frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with PPM tools (e.g., Monday.com, ServiceNow, MS Project, Planview).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to extract insights from portfolio data.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel and business process modelling tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including at senior level.
- Ability to influence without authority and lead through change and ambiguity.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
