We are looking for a Packet Core Engineer to join our team in a hybrid project based in Lisbon (2x/week)!

What are we looking for?

A degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering

At least 3 years of experience working with mobile networks (3G, 4G, 5G)

Good understanding of how telecom and IT networks work

Experience with mobile core network elements, like:

• AMF, MME, SGSN
• UPF, S-GW, P-GW, GGSN

Knowledge of key network protocols like GTP, DNS, Diameter, and HTTP

Familiarity with VoLTE (Voice over LTE)

Skills in analysing performance, solving problems, and improving systems

Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, NFV)

Extra knowledge in DNS, AAA, PCRF is a plus

Experience using tools like Wireshark, NetAct, or U2000 is also a plus

Experience working with vendors like Ericsson, Nokia or Mavenir is a bonus

Fluent in Portuguese and English

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
