This company is a recognized provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services, with a strong presence in sectors such as energy, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. Operating from Portugal, it delivers comprehensive project solutions—from concept development and feasibility studies to full-scale execution. 

Your new role 

• Plan and execute Azure migration projects, including virtual networks, storage, and hybrid connectivity.
• Configure, manage and monitor firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation and security policies.
• Manage local networks (LAN/WAN), switches, VLANs and troubleshoot inter-site connectivity.
• Administration of Windows and Linux servers – installation, maintenance, and updates.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools, including alert setup, tuning and documentation.
• Provide 2nd line technical support specialized in cloud and infrastructure to local teams.
• Contribute to systems and infrastructure architecture design, including hybrid environments.
• Support development and ERP teams on infrastructure or integration-related technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and backup policies, including technical implementation and standardization.
• Create technical and operational documentation for infrastructure, network and cloud processes.
• Support infrastructure performance analysis and continuous improvement of core IT services.

What you need to succeed 

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in IT networking, cloud computing (Azure), firewalls and VPNs.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects and local/hybrid network restructuring.
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in similar roles within an enterprise environment.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Advanced or Proficient English Speaker (C1/C2).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong results-driven mindset.
• Analytical profile, proactive, focused on continuous improvement and operational security.
