Descrição da Função

As a Menswear Designer at Isto, you'll be part of the production team, working closely with the Production Manager and Creative Director to bring our permanent & seasonal collections to life. From technical design to artwork preparation and supplier communication, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality, functionality, and brand consistency.

Important note: The successful candidate should understand our mission, core values and, most importantly, should understand this is a startup-role with a holistic view and responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

- Assist in product development across all categories: from concept to sample

- Prepare and update technical packs, tech drawings, and spec sheets for suppliers

- Conduct fittings and support in measuring, reviewing, and commenting on samples

- Liaise with suppliers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs and artworks

- Ensure brand consistency across all product elements

- Help maintain the organization of the design archive, fabric library, and sample collection

- Research fabrics, trims, and finishes, and assist in sourcing when needed

- Stay up to date on market trends and help in building seasonal mood boards or design proposals

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a design or product development role within a fashion brand

- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (Figma is a plus)

- Knowledge of technical garment construction, fabric behaviour, and print production

- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong time-management skills

- Experience working with manufacturers and suppliers (preferably in Portugal)

- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a bonus)

- A strong team player who is excited to work in a small, dynamic, purpose-driven company
