Medidor Orçamentista (Tender) - Engenharia Metalomecânica(M/F)

Tasks, activities and responsibilities:

• Analysing tender documents, technical specifications, drawings and customer requirements and preparing quotations and other documentation required for submission;
• Drawing up client-specific documentation (validation/qualification with the client);
• Identifying and quantifying the materials, equipment and labour required for each project;
• Drawing up detailed cost estimates for pipework, metal structures and mechanical assembly projects;
• Work closely with engineering, production and purchasing teams to ensure accurate budgets;
• Monitor and update cost databases and budget historic for continuous improvement;
• Assist in drawing up contracts and aligning commercial conditions;
• Leading strategic quotation processes for the Unit/Group;
• Complying with the company's internal processes and procedures;
• Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental rules of the location;
• Comply with the Management Policy and work towards achieving the established objectives;
• Know and use the IMS documents applicable.

What you should have:

• Technical course in budgeting and/or 12th year of schooling with proven experience in preparing proposals and budgets; and/or Degree or integrated Master's in Mechanical Engineering;
• 3 years' experience (minimum) in budgeting and drawing up technical and commercial proposals and/or carrying out work in an industrial environment, production and/or maintenance projects;
• Experience in budgeting for metal-mechanical projects, including pipework, construction and mechanical assembly;
• Experience in projects for the Oil & Gas, Mining&Cement and Energy sectors is valued;
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written);
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office; Financial software);
• Availability to travel.
